Hi sweetie, thank you for stopping by! Are you enjoying these winter months? During this time of the year many of us are struggling with a cold or fever. The sore throat and cough that comes with it, can be really frustrating. The worst part about being sick, is not being in control of your body. However, there is one thing that you can do! Taking good care of yourself and your body. That’s where this recipe for the anti-fever and sore throat tea comes to help. Shall I tell you why?


TAKE CARE OF YOUR BODY WITH SORE THROAT TEA

Your body could use some extra help right now to get better again. Pour yourself a big cup of sore throat tea and sit back and relax. It’s just what you need to recover and come out stronger! The tea contains lots of antioxidants an vitamins. Your body won’t say “no” to this. If your throat hurts from coughing you could also add some honey, it’s soft for your throat. Ofcourse you can also drink this tea to boost your immune system for or during the winter months. It tastes really good as well 😉 Which is just as important, if you ask me. In case you are currently suffering from a cold, scratchy throat or a fever, make sure to take the time to get better. Self-care is the way to go right now! Eat healthy, drinks lots of water and relax.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup of boiled water
  • 5 slices (not to thick) fresh ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ginger powder
  • Juice from 1/4 lemon
  • 2 slices fresh lemon
  • 1 tsp honey

PREPARATIONS:

  1. Boil the water and pour into a big tea cup.
  2. Add the ginger powder, 1 tbsp honey and the lemon juice. Stir.
  3. Then add the fresh lemon and slices of ginger. Leave for at least 5 minutes.
  4. Don’t drink the tea while it’s still very hot. Your soar throat won’t thank you for this 😉
  5. Feel better soon!
